Warm Water Taps
If space is at a premium, or you would simply just prefer a warm water tap, these are a great option where a fully installed shower is not the right option for you.
The warm water tap comes fully installed from £249.00.
Prices are subject to pre installation survey.
We also offer a galvanised steel ring hook fixed to the wall with a karabiner clip for your dog lead for £25.00.
The installation process is very similar to that for the full shower.
Installation process
The first step is to conduct a pre installation survey to establish proposed location of the tap, allowing us to assess access to pipework behind the tap inside the property to connect to both hot and cold water supplies. This survey will show how much space is available to install relevant back flow prevention valves, to prevent contamination of the supply caused by back siphoning if there is a drop in pressure. This is a water regulation required by law. We would also install lever valves to both hot and cold water feeds to the tap to allow isolation in extreme weather conditions to help prevent freezing water causing damage to the tap.
Once installation day is here, we arrive at your home and prepare the inside working area with dust sheets and water catchers for when we connect to the supply. Externally, we set up the work area with a work bench and ensure there is a power supply for any power tools required. Our engineers use battery powered tools wherever possible but the drill used to bore through the wall is mains powered. We use our own extension leads with thermal cut out devices to prevent any damage to the electric supply in your home.
Once the tap is fixed to the wall, the internal pipework is adapted and connected to the tap incorporating the relevant isolation and back flow prevention valves. The unit is then flushed and tested for leaks.
All mess is cleared inside and outside your home and a full demonstration is given.
After this, your Mucky Paws Warm Water Tap is ready to be enjoyed by your muddy pooches, but most importantly of all, you! - ensuring that any mud collected by your furry friends on their adventures is washed away and not left in your home.
